My impression of Radio Park Elementary School field trip

Before we went to this trip, I expected that children would ask me many questions or happen something out of control, but in fact, they behaved and concentrated on listening to the story. When they played toys with their classmates, their innocence and energy were like other children that I met before.

This elementary school is like other elementary schools in my country because there are many cute drawings and many toys around their classroom. Compare with other elementary schools in my country, the two big differences are that this school has some international students and large space for playing outdoor games.

After this trip, I will recommend other IECP students that they can feel free and be relaxed  to go on trips like this.

Summary of " For Their Children, Many E-Book Fans Insist on Paper"

Mpublishers and developers continue to create children's e-books, but parents buy print books more than e-books for their children. Although those parents get used to read by e-books, they still buy print books for their children for some reasons. For example, they would like to read print books with their children in bed instead of e-books. It is wonderful for them to tough and read a page of a book together. In fact, their children only love to read print books and as a gift, print books are more attractive than e-books. Another example is they are aware that tablet devices will distract children's attention, children want to play a game on a iPad instead of reading. They are also aware children only read print books.

A professor, Junko Yokota, thinks there are something's on print books can not be changed to e-books, like shape and size. Size and size of print books imply some information for readers.
A tech-obsessed entrepreneur, Ari Wallach, express reading print books is as important function for learning.

Introducing myself

Hello Everyone!

My name is Tzu-Chi, and you also can call me "Jessica".

I am from Taiwan and I am Taiwanese. I have got the degree of Bachelor of Industrial Engineering. I had been a R&D testing engineer in Quanta Computer for a long time. Because my husband has a job here, that's why I live in State College now. I think I will live in State College for a long time, but, recently, my husband is thinking about moving to California to work. Therefore, this semester maybe is my last semester in IECP.

I am glad I have a chance to study ESL classes in IECP and know so many friends from different countries.

At last, wish everyone's dream will come true in 2014.
